A rousing orchestral showcase with moving brass chorales, prominent percussion, and featured solos for viola, cello, and violin. This four-movement work for full orchestra moves quickly through a wide range of idioms, covering musical styles from avant-garde to Hollywood film score. The composer’s Masters thesis, this work utilizes an original development structure of interrelating musical cycles that parallel the cycles inherent in the western zodiac signs themselves.
